Sooooo cute! =^.^=
Welcome to the North Pole! Here are my newest cupcakes, and I really wanted to bake something cute this time. <3 I saw a picture of a polar bear cupcake some time ago, and it was so sweet, I just had to try it.
It was so much fun decorating them! They are Raffaelo cucpakes - vanilla dough with a Raffaelo inside, matching the coconut flake coat and the Raffelo head. The paws, ears and snouts are made from marzipan, decorated with sugar paste.

German hanami part 2. Enjoy!
German hanami. XD
You know what Japanese do in April when the cherry trees are blooming? They go out with some friends or colleagues, some alcohol and some fingerfood, sit down under the trees and drink.
You know what many young people in Germany do on the First of May? They go out with some friends, some alcohol and some barbecue stuff, walk around the nature (where apple trees are blooming) and then sit down somewhere in a nice place (under some blooming apple trees, in our case), drink, barbecue some Wurst and meat and have fun.
I decided not to upload here any photos of the people because I can’t be sure if everyone would be OK with that, besides this blog isn’t a place for stuff like that. I just wanted to upload some of the beautiful nature pics I could take on that day, especially the apple trees that remind me of the Japanese hanami every year. <3

Taiyaki with anko, made together with my tandem (= language exchange) partner and good friend two weeks ago. ^_^ She was also the one who took the photos.
Homemade okonomiyaki and yakisoba! It was the first time we tried this and it was awesome. :D (and not only because of all the ソース we used xD)
Yay, and I was there. It was so much fun, too! XD
